Students have received their "Chemoscope" project grades. We had a lot of copying and pasting on this project, and so I would like to see our students using their own words in their projects.

Activity: Discuss chemical bonds outline. Discuss coefficient and subscript. Complete an online tutorial on chemical formulas. Tally atoms in different chemical formulas.

Mrs. Curreri will be out for MATRIX training today.
Activity: Quiz on separation of a mixture, Read section 6-1 and 6-2 in class.

Thursday 10-12-06
Activity: Construct ionic bonds diagrams, write formulas to express those bonds.
Homework: "Bonding Practice" top

Friday 10-13-06
Activity: Show video clips of a polar and a nonpolar covalent bond. "Transfer the water" activity.
