Monday 12-4-06
Activity: Draw and label the stages of the water cycle. Use kinesthetic activity to help remember each stage of the cycle. Label each layer of the atmosphere. Evaporation and condensation experiment. Notebook Check.

Tuesday 12-5-06
Activity: Use the weather vane and the compass to determine wind direction. Check data by looking at local weather on the net.
Homework: Read 8-1, complete SG 8-1

Wednesday 12-6-06
Activity: Quiz on the atmosphere and the water cycle.
Homework: Names of Clouds puzzle

Thursday 12-7-06
Activity: “The Tilted Earth” activity and “The Earth’s rotation and revolution” activity. Wind belts and the Coriolis Effect.

Friday 12-8-06
Activity: “Relative Humidity” lab activity
Homework: Quiz Monday on relative humidity (practice solving relative humidity problems)
